Management Team
With a combined 90+ years in the software business and management experience with Microsoft, Lucas Arts, Electronic Arts, Motorola and their own technology start-ups, Digini’s management team has a unique perspective into the challenges of game development and the need for world-class tools.
Tony Garcia (CEO) – Tony has been in the videogame business for over 25 years and worked in senior positions for such companies as Microsoft, Electronic Arts, and LucasFilm. In 1991, Tony founded the games division at Microsoft growing it over a period five years, and establishing the company as a major player in the interactive space. He was also the General Manager at Electronic Arts Seattle Studio, and has successfully started up two independent game development companies. During his time in the industry, Tony has been involved with such award winning titles as Need For Speed, FIFA Soccer, Age of Empires, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, and many more.
Christian Beaumont (CTO) – in his 20+ years of experience, Christian Beaumont previously held positions as development lead at Microsoft in the Visual Studio team and the coveted title of Distinguished Engineer at Motorola. Over the last decade he has obtained numerous patents and created technologies that were broadly adopted by the software development industry.
Jon Grande (President and COO) – Jon joined Digini following a 13+ year career at Microsoft where he developed Microsoft’s online-games strategy and was executive producer on several “Game of the Year” titles for PC, Xbox, and Xbox 360. While at Microsoft, Jon initiated and managed relationships with several of Microsoft’s top external development partners including BioWare, Gas Powered Games, and Marvel Enterprises. After Microsoft, Jon served as Vice President at Sigil Games Online (prior to its acquisition by Sony Online Entertainment) as well as co-founder of a startup targeting the nexus of social networking and casual games.
Behnaz Beaumont (Vice President of Product Development) – Behnaz was a key member of the Visual Studio team at Microsoft and helped create many of the tools and features in the product over her 17 year career. Additionally she held lead development positions at Lantronix Inc and Motorola where she worked extensively on advanced user interface rendering technologies for consumer products.
Dmitry Shtainer (Vice President of Technology) – Dmitry has been involved with some of the most highly acclaimed videogames in the last 10 years. In his role as R&D manager at Crytek, he was responsible for raising the bar in terms of technical excellence and visual realism in next generation video games. Dmitry has managed large teams in numerous development disciplines and successfully deployed leading edge technologies across multiple hardware and software platforms. During his time in the Industry, Dmitry has been credited with such award winning titles as FarCry, Crysis, and Inferno.
