Components

Models and Animation

It is easy to animate your model using the built in components. It is as simple as importing your model, adding an animation component, and then selecting the animation you sure as a property on the component. Samples components are Idle Animator, Walk Animator, and Action Animator.

Character Control

Blade3D includes a physics based character controller. This allows you to quickly control an object. The controller is highly adjustable and allows quick changing of input schemes. Properties include forward, back, strafe, jump, run, speed, force and more.

Decals and Posters

Using a placement tool in conjunction the with decal system, you can quickly augment an objects appearance by painting images onto a surface. This allows easy manipulation of fine detail in the scene that would normally require intricate offline texture and model manipulation.

Light Shafts

Blade3D has out of the box effects to simulate cloud formations and volumetric lights. A number of properties are provided to make it easy to create various visual appearances and options control the addition of procedural 3D noise to add increased depth.
